Rhondda Cynon Taf Draft Proposals

The Commission has published its draft proposals for the future electoral arrangements for the County Borough of Rhondda Cynon Taf.

You can view the proposals on the Commission’s Consultation Portal, compare them with the existing arrangements and make any comments which you may wish to make.

The 12-week consultation period commences on 26 June 2019 and closes on 17 September 2019.

After this date the Commission will consider all the representations it has received, prepare Final Recommendations and submit these to Welsh Government.

The Commission would like to make it clear that the proposals concerns county council representation only, except where specifically noted in the report in Chapter Six (the Town of Pontypridd and the Community of Llantwit Fardre). No underlying changes will be made to the community arrangements to any other Community Council area.
