Ceredigion Community Review - Draft Proposals

The Commission is undertaking a Community Review of the Ceredigion Principal Council area, and has published its Draft Proposals.

At this stage of the review the Commission asks all interested parties to consider the Draft Proposals (attached below) and submit their views on any changes required to create communities that provide for effective and convenient local government.

All submissions will then be considered, and the Commission will publish a Final Recommendations report or Further Draft Report (and will hold a consultation on those proposals if a further draft report is published).

Final Recommendations will be submitted to Welsh Government Ministers.

Welsh Government will then, if it thinks fit, give effect to these recommendations either as submitted, or with modifications.

The draft consultation period opens on 19 March 2024 and closes on 13 May 2024.

The Commission can only consider consultation responses received while the consultation is open. Please note that the Commission will publish all representations received in full. Personal details will be redacted on representations received from members of the public, while names will be published on representations sent in an official capacity.
