Newport Draft Proposal

The Commission has published its draft proposals for the future electoral arrangements for the City of Newport.

You can view the proposals on the Commission’s consultation portal, compare them with the existing arrangements and make any comments which you may wish to make.The 12-week consultation period commences on 16 January 2020 and closes on 8 April 2020.

After this date the Commission will consider all the representations it has received, prepare Final Recommendations and submit these to Welsh Government.
